While the unit is on, placing your finger over the IR window will momentarily turn off the laser sight /LED light, removing your finger from the IR window allows the laser sight/LED light to return to the on position. Holding the on/off button for the LED light in for a second or two will switch the LED light from steady to strobe or strobe to steady.
